When you start the game and Cranky Kong is playing music, enter: Down, Y, Down, Down, Y. This will allow you to play any bonus level and get as many lives as you want. Once you have enough lives, press "Start" to pause the game, then press "Select". This will bring you to back to the game with all the lives you got at the bonus rounds.

To start with 50 lives - when selecting games go to delete game and push: B,A,R,R,A,L then select game.

When playing two player team, you can switch player when other player is in front by pressing: B,A,Down,B,Up,Down,Down,Y (BADBUDDY)

For a "Sound Select" then on the 'select a game' screen, select 'erase game' and press DOWN,A,R,B,Y,DOWN,A,Y. press select to switch between tracks.

        Highlight "Erase Game" and enter the following:

            50 lives: B, A, R, R, A, L
            Music test (press SELECT to go through the sounds): DOWN, A, R, B,
            Y, DOWN, A, Y
            Two Player Competition Mode: B, A, DOWN, B, UP, DOWN,
            DOWN, Y
            You're Under Control Now: Highlight the Erase Game option and press
            B, A, Down, B, Up, Down, Down, Y, and A. Now when playing a
            2-player game you can take control whenever you want
            Bonus Games: When you see DK dancing when you first turn on the
            game press Down, Y, Down, Down, and Y.
            Hidden Warp: Durring the game when walking between Coral Capers
            and Funky Flights on the map press B very fast. If you did this correctly
            you will warp to Orang-Utan Gang in Vine Valley.

                         Diddy Kong's Quest

        From the "Music Test", press DOWN 5 times to enable "Cheat Mode". While in
        the "Cheat Mode", enter: Y, A, SELECT, A, DOWN, LEFT, A,DOWN. You will
        hear a chime and a monkey giggle if done correctly.

    Cheat Codes:

        When you start a new game go all the way down the options past the Music Test
        to the Cheat Mode option and enter these codes. B, A, Right, Right, A, Left, A,
        and X to get rid of all the DK Barrels in the game. Y, A, Select, A, Down, Left,
        A, and Down to start with 50 lives. You can do both of these together if you wish.

        Codes:

            At the Game Select screen, press L, R, R, L, R, R, L, R, L, R. You can
            then enter the following codes:
                LIVES - Gives you 50 lives
                MUSIC - Sound test
                MERRY - In the bonus levels, there is a Christmas song playing,
                all of the stars are Christmas balls, and the bananas are presents.
                COLOR - Dixie's outfit is purple and Kiddy's is green.
                TUFST - There are no halfway barrels.

            Choose up to 9 continues - Left, Right, Left, Right, L-pad, L-pad,

            Disable Throws - R-pad, Right, L-pad, L-pad, Left, Left, R-pad,
            R-pad.
            Disable Dizziness - Down, Down, Left, Up, Down, Down, Left, Up,
            R-pad, R-pad, L-pad.
            After Tournament, Skill level "Pro", has been beaten, use this code to
            be the bosses: L-pad, R-pad, Up, L-pad, L-pad, Down, R-pad, R-pad
            (After you beat the game in Tournament, Skill Level "Pro", this code
            will always work even after you shut the game off).
